Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now an actress from Germany and Romania. Her best-known films include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16she already secured a number of TV roles including the lead role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film) was critically as well as critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the beautiful diva. Alexandra is well known for her involvement in many notable projects, both in the United States as well as internationally. Among others, these projects include the British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others.
