Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress most well-known for her roles in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of sixteen, she had landed several television roles, which included the leading role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one.
